Doodle became line exercise became coloring experiment. Mostly no regrets. I’d like to apologize to everyone ever for that attempt at crosshatching, though.

He scoots closer, leg overlapping the indent. Still pleasantly warm. Had he been sitting here earlier, and moved to the other end of the couch after he got up to get a drink…?

As far as I know, valentine tokens are romantic in nature. And accepting a romantic token with no intention of returning it can cause…problems. I suppose some humans look at it as an opportunity for prestige and to curry favors, but more platonic gifts are given out for Janiris, which is also coming up soon. I’ve been seeing more candy flowers worked into the wreaths outside stores every year—I suppose that particular human tradition appeals to asari.
Fuck. You mean it has to be a romantic thing? I don’t fucking get how something like that could get this popular. It’s almost prostitution. Or blackmailing. Manipulating.
I bought one of those wreaths once in Nos Astra. The flowers were like vaguely sweet paper, not worth the price at all. Chocolate seems like a much better tradition.
